Mt. Baker Places Restaurant Glacier, WA
Chair 9 Woodstone Pizza
Wood-fired pizza, burgers, and a bar that runs later than the kitchen
Glacier’s pizza and sports bar, about half a mile past the town core, and the classic stop on the way down from the mountain. Pizzas come out of their woodstone oven, and there are soups, sandwiches, and burgers for whoever in the car has vetoed pizza.
The genuinely useful thing to know: the bar stays open well past the kitchen, in a corridor where most places are dark by 8 p.m. If you rolled off the mountain late, this is the answer.
Hours
They’re open seven days a week, and the kitchen and the bar close at different times. These are the hours their own hours page listed when we checked it on August 31, 2026:
| Day | Kitchen | Bar |
|---|---|---|
| Monday–Thursday | 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. | 12 p.m. – 11 p.m. |
| Friday–Saturday | 12 p.m. – 9 p.m. | 12 p.m. – 2 a.m.* |
| Sunday | 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. | 12 p.m. – 11 p.m. |
* The 2 a.m. weekend close is at the bartender’s discretion, in their own words — not a guarantee.
Older third-party listings still show a Thursday-to-Sunday schedule for this place. That is out of date: the restaurant publishes a full seven-day week itself, and the site is the source we’d trust over a directory.
What to order
- A wood-fired pizza from the woodstone oven — the thing they’re known for
- A burger, the reliable second lane
- Soup and a sandwich after a cold day on the hill
Good to know
- Kitchen and bar keep different hours; the bar runs three to five hours past food service
- Open seven days, which matters on Monday and Tuesday: Gunners is closed both days, so this is Glacier’s dinner option at the start of the week
- Hours verified on their site August 31, 2026. Days can still drift in the shoulder seasons, so glance at the hours page if you’re cutting it close; (360) 599-2511
